1. Who we are
The ARCH 50/50 raffle is conducted and managed by ARCH — Algoma Residential Community Hospice, 229 Fourth Line West, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, under Lottery Licence #RAF1553954 issued by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
Contact: (705) 942-1556 ext. 237 · 5050@archhospice.ca
The raffle platform is operated on our behalf by ASCEND Fundraising Solutions using an electronic raffle system registered with the AGCO.
2. These terms and the Rules of Play
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of arch5050.ca and your purchase of tickets.
The Rules of Play, as approved by the AGCO, govern the conduct of the raffle itself. If anything in these Terms and Conditions conflicts with the Rules of Play, the Rules of Play prevail.
By purchasing a ticket you confirm that you have read and accepted both documents.
3. Who may purchase
You may purchase a ticket only if all of the following are true:
- You are 18 years of age or older.
- You are physically located in the Province of Ontario at the time of purchase. Our system verifies your location and will block the purchase if it cannot confirm you are in Ontario, or if it detects the use of a VPN, proxy or other tool that conceals your location.
- You are not a member of the ARCH Board of Directors, the Executive Director, a manager, or a member of the Fund Development or Office departments.
- You are not otherwise prohibited from participating under the Rules of Play or by the AGCO.
Tickets may not be sold, offered for sale or ordered from outside Ontario. This offer is not directed to anyone outside Ontario.
We may cancel any ticket purchased in breach of this section and refund the purchase price. A ticket cancelled on these grounds is not eligible to win.
4. Tickets and pricing
| Package | Price |
|---|---|
| 10 numbers | $10.00 CAD |
| 60 numbers | $20.00 CAD |
| 200 numbers | $40.00 CAD |
All prices are in Canadian dollars and are the total amount payable. There are no taxes, shipping charges, service fees, customs duties or brokerage fees. Tickets are sold online only, by credit card, only through arch5050.ca.
Raffle ticket purchases are not charitable donations and are not eligible for a charitable tax receipt.
5. Before you buy
Before you complete your purchase you will see a summary showing the package selected, the number of raffle numbers, the total amount payable and these Terms and Conditions. At that point you can correct any errors, go back, or decline to proceed. Your purchase is complete only when you confirm it.
We will email you a confirmation containing your raffle numbers, the price paid, the purchase date and time, the applicable draw dates and a copy of these Terms and Conditions within 15 days of your purchase — in practice, immediately. If you do not receive it, check your spam folder and then contact us at 5050@archhospice.ca.
6. Draws and prizes
Main draw. The winner receives a minimum of 50% of the value of ticket sales for that draw period, with a guaranteed minimum prize of $9,999.
Early Bird draw. Held on the second Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. for a prize of $1,000. Tickets purchased before 9:29:59 a.m. on that day are entered into the Early Bird draw and remain eligible for the main draw.
All draws take place at 9:30 a.m. at 229 Fourth Line West, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, and are supervised by two bona fide members of ARCH.
Draw dates: September 9, 2026 · October 14, 2026 · November 11, 2026 · December 9, 2026 · January 13, 2027 · February 10, 2027 · March 10, 2027 · April 14, 2027 · May 12, 2027 · June 9, 2027 · July 14, 2027 · August 11, 2027
The estimated current prize amount is displayed on arch5050.ca and increases as tickets are sold. The estimate is not a guarantee of the final amount, except that the prize will never be less than the guaranteed minimum.
Your chance of winning depends on the total number of raffle numbers sold and cannot be known in advance.
7. Winners
Winning numbers are published on arch5050.ca after each draw. We will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner using the contact details provided at purchase.
To claim a prize you must present the winning ticket confirmation and valid government-issued photo identification at 229 Fourth Line West, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
If a prize is not claimed within six months of the draw date, the funds are held in trust and then donated to another local charitable organization with the approval of the AGCO, in accordance with the Rules of Play.
8. Refunds and cancellations
Tickets are final sale and are not refundable. Once the first ticket in a draw has been sold, ARCH is required to complete the draw and award the prize, whether or not all tickets are sold.
There are three exceptions:
- Transaction error. If a ticket is issued in error, duplicated, or a payment is processed incorrectly, contact us before the close of sales for that draw. We can void the ticket and refund the payment in full.
- Ineligible purchase. If a ticket was purchased in breach of section 3, we will cancel it and refund the purchase price.
- Cancellation of the raffle. A licensed raffle may only be cancelled after sales have begun with the written consent of every ticket purchaser and the approval of the licensing authority. If a raffle is cancelled, every purchaser receives a full refund of the ticket price.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.
9. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, particularly your email address — this is how we send your numbers and how we contact you if you win. You are responsible for keeping your ticket confirmation.

10. Play responsibly
