Rules of Play
The ARCH 50/50 is conducted and managed by ARCH — Algoma Residential Community Hospice, 229 Fourth Line West, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, under Lottery Licence #RAF1553954 issued by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO). The raffle runs on an electronic raffle system operated by ASCEND Fundraising Solutions and registered with the AGCO.
Eligibility. Purchasers must be 18 years of age or older and physically located in Ontario at the time of purchase. Members of the ARCH Board of Directors, the Executive Director, managers, and members of the Fund Development or Office departments may not purchase tickets.
Tickets and pricing. 10 numbers for $10, 60 numbers for $20, 200 numbers for $40, in Canadian dollars. Tickets are sold online only, by credit card, only through arch5050.ca. Ticket purchases are not charitable donations and are not eligible for a charitable tax receipt.
Draws. All draws take place at 9:30 a.m. at 229 Fourth Line West, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, and are supervised by two bona fide members of ARCH. The main draw winner receives a minimum of 50% of the value of ticket sales for that draw period, with a guaranteed minimum prize of $9,999. Early Bird draws for $1,000 are held on the second Wednesday of each month; tickets purchased before 9:29:59 a.m. on that day are entered into the Early Bird draw and remain eligible for the main draw.
Draw dates. September 9, 2026 · October 14, 2026 · November 11, 2026 · December 9, 2026 · January 13, 2027 · February 10, 2027 · March 10, 2027 · April 14, 2027 · May 12, 2027 · June 9, 2027 · July 14, 2027 · August 11, 2027.
Winners. Winning numbers are published on arch5050.ca after each draw. To claim a prize, present the winning ticket confirmation and valid government-issued photo identification at 229 Fourth Line West, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. If a prize is not claimed within six months of the draw date, the funds are held in trust and then donated to another local charitable organization with the approval of the AGCO.
Refunds. Tickets are final sale. A ticket may be voided and refunded only in the case of a transaction error reported before the close of sales, an ineligible purchase, or cancellation of the raffle with the written consent of every purchaser and the approval of the licensing authority.
